3rd-5th GRADE CLASS CALENDAR
2006-2007

Classes meet Tuesday afternoon from 2:15 - 4:00 p.m. Third through fifth graders are bussed from Wallenpaupack North Schools to Queen of Peace Religious Education Center and Parish Center. Parents are to pick up the students at Queen of Peace at 4:00 p.m.

September, 2006

Classes held 19, 26.

17: Sunday-Parent/Student/Teachers Orientation after 9:15 and 11:30 am Masses in Auditorium.

19: Classes begin.
October, 2006
- Classes held 3, 10, 17, 24.
- 24: Thanksgiving Contest goes home.
November, 2006
- Classes held: 7, 14, 28.
- 1: All Saints Day.Thanksgiving Contest due. Christmas Play Notice goes home
- 2: All Souls Day.
- 7: Notices for Christmas Play parts are due.
- 12: Thanksgiving Contest celebration after 11:30 Mass in auditorium.
- 14: Christmas Play parts go home.
- 23: Thanksgiving Day.
- 26: Feast of Christ the King.
- 28: Christmas play parts go home.
December, 2006
- Classes held 5, 12, 19
- 2: Saturday, Play Practice 10 am to noon.
- 3: First Sunday of Advent
- 8: Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
- 9: Saturday Play Practice 10 am to noon.
- 10: Sunday, Christmas Play/Covered Dish Birthday Party for Jesus. Play will start at 4 pm in church.
- 12: Confession for grades 3, 4 and 5.
- 25: Christmas Day.
January, 2007
- Classes held 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
- 1: Octave of Christmas, Mary Mother of God.
- 7: Feast of Epiphany.
- 22: Roe vs. Wade Anniversary.
February, 2007
- Classes held 6, 13, 20, 27.
- 21: Ash Wednesday (Beginning of Lent) Day of Fast & Anstinence. Masses 9 am and 7 pm. Service at 4 pm.
March, 2007
- Classes held 6, 13, 20, 27.
- 6: Seder Meal notice for reservations goes home.
- 20: Confessions for grades 3, 4 and 5. Seder Meal reservations due back.
April, 2007
- Classes held 10, 17, 24.
- 1: Palm Sunday. Penance Service 3 pm
- 4: Seder Meal Covered Dish Supper 6 pm in Auditorium.
- 5: Holy Thursday Mass of the Lords Supper at 7 pm.
- 6: Good Friday Service at 1 pm.
- 7 Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass at 8 pm. No other Mass that night.
- 8: Easter Sunday.
May, 2007

- 8: Last Class.
