6th-8th GRADE CLASS CALENDAR
2006-2007

Classes meet Sunday mornings with attendance at 9:15 or 11:30 a.m. Mass. Classes start approximately 10:00 a.m. Students are dismissed at 11:20 a.m.

10: 8th Grade Confirmation candidates interviews and measure for robes

17: Catechist Sunday - Parent/Student Orientation after 9:15 and 11:30 am Masses.

24: First Class

26: Tuesday - 8th grade Confirmation Parent/Student meeting in auditorium at 7 pm.
October, 2006
- Classes held 1, 8, 15, 22.
- 1: 8th Grade Confirmation Class Retreat at Fatima Center.
- 8: 8th Grade Confirmation Practice during class. Practice with Sponsors at 2 pm in Church.
- 15: 8th Grade Confirmation Practice during class. Mass at 4 pm in Church.
- 21: 7th grade Student/Parent Retreat/Meeting Auditorium 8:45 amd to 12:45 pm.
- 22: 7th Grade Confirmation Enrollment Mass 9:15 am.
- 22: Mission Sunday. Thanksgiving Contest goes home.
November, 2006
- Classes held 5, 12, 19.
- 1: All Saints Day.
- 2: All Souls Day.
- 13: Thanksgiving Contest celebration after 11:30 Mass.
- 20: Feast of Christ the King.
- 23: Thanksgiving Day.
- 26: Feast of Christ the King.
December, 2006
- Classes held on 3, 10, 17.
- 3: First Sunday of Advent
- 8: Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
- 10: Christmas Play/Covered Dish Birthday Party for Jesus. Play begins at 4 pm in church.
- 17: Penance Service at 3 pm for Grades 6, 7 and 8, with their families,
- 25: Christmas Day.
January, 2007
- Classes held on 7, 14, 21, 28.
- 1: Octave of Christmas, Mary Mother of God.
- 7: Feast of Epiphany.
- 22: Roe vs. Wade Anniversary.
February, 2007
- Classes held on 4, 11, 25.
- 21: Ash Wednesday (Beginning of Lent) A Day of Fast and Abstinence. Masses at 9 am and 7 pm and a Prayer Service with Ashes at 4 pm
- 25: 6th Grade - 9:15 am Mass and Lenten Program. All welcome to attend.
March, 2007
- Classes held on 4, 11, 18, 25.
- 11: 7th Grade 9:15 am Mass & Lenten Program.
- 25: 8th grade, 9:15 Mass & Lenten Program.
April, 2007
- Classes held on 1, 15, 22, 29.
- 1: Palm Sunday Penance Service at 3 pm for Grades 6, 7, and 8 with their families.
- 4: Seder Meal Covered Dish Supper at 6 pm Auditorium
- 5: Holy Thursday Mass of the Lords Supper at 7 pm.
- 6: Good Friday Services begin at 1 pm.
- 7: Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass at 8 pm. No other Mass that night.
- 8: Easter Sunday.

- 6: May Crowning of Blessed Mother after 9:15 Mass. Last Class.
